Reading Groups

Interested in pulling together a reading group with fellow colleagues?

Reading Groups may be formed around any topic or theme. HRI will circulate information about the reading groups to the campus community, with the goal of widening the reach of the groups and attracting new members. We would like to encourage any interested groups (regardless of whether they have received past HRI sponsorship) to submit a description of their group and contact information for the group’s organizers; this information will be included on the HRI website, and will be circulated to the HRI mailing list at the start of the fall semester.

HRI is also pleased to offer our seminar space, pending availability, for use by those groups that would like to meet at HRI. Each Reading Group will be wholly responsible for its own administration, including all clerical and meeting-related activities and the distribution of readings and publicity materials. HRI will make its facilities available for use by the Reading Groups, who shall be responsible for scheduling all facility use in advance with the HRI staff; all scheduling will be based on availability.
