Communications and Outreach Internships
HRI's Communications and Outreach internships offer real world experience for undergraduate humanities majors.
Undergraduate majors in humanities disciplines are invited to apply for a paid internship in communications and undergraduate outreach at the Humanities Research Institute (HRI), the campus humanities hub. The successful candidate will assist HRI with its communications strategy, including email communications and social media presence, in addition to serving as an undergraduate liaison and a strategist for HRI on undergraduate engagement.

Eligibility
To be considered for communications and outreach internships, the candidate must be a humanities major and possess strong writing and communications skills, excellent attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and an investigative mind. A broad interest in the humanities is preferred.
Terms
The position commences October 24, 2022 and ends May 15, 2023. The intern will work approximately two to three hours per week, for 24 weeks, at the rate of $15.75 per hour (up to $1,000 per year). There is flexibility regarding the hours to be worked.

In the application form, you will be asked to submit a one-page letter of interest, a resume, and a list of two references (academic or non-academic, so long as they can speak to your skills and work ethic; at least one referee should be able to comment on your writing skills).
