Coming in Fall 2025:
Humanities Open House

Undergraduates and friends of the humanities—save the date for the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign’s first ever Humanities Open House! Join us on Saturday, October 4, 2025, when we’ll be highlighting the best of the humanities on our campus, including academic departments, student groups, research, resources, and alumni stories.

While the activities and offerings will be designed for current undergraduate students, we warmly welcome prospective students and anyone else interested in learning more about the vibrant humanities ecosystem at Illinois.

Tentative Schedule

Saturday, October 4, 2025

11 – 11:50 a.m. - Resource fair

  • Tables with representatives from various units, student organizations, and campus resources, as well as food and entertainment.

12 – 12:50 p.m. Simultaneous events

1 – 1:50 p.m. Simultaneous events

2 – 3:30 p.m. Alumni event and closing

  • Includes a keynote speaker, alumni panel, the student video prize announcement/showing, and prize drawings.
